HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
In this course you will learn the necessary skills to provide effective CPR when a patient is experiencing cardiac arrest. You will learn to use an automated external defibrillator (AED), provide effective ventilations and compressions, and collaborate in a team to ensure effective rotations between roles occur.

HLTAID010 - Provide basic emergency life support
In this course you'll cover: assessing the casualty, providing safety and accessing emergency services. Students also use resources to provide first aid, such as: conducting CPR and using a defibrillator, administering an autoinjector for anaphylaxis, administering asthma medication, assisting someone choking, managing casualties with non-life-threatening bleeding and shock.
Duration - 2 hours of face to face assessment & training, & additional online learning

HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid
The course covers: assessing the casualty, providing safety and accessing emergency services. Students also use resources to provide first aid, such as: conducting CPR and using a defibrillator, administering an autoinjector for anaphylaxis, administering asthma medication, assisting someone choking, using appropriate immobilisation techniques for envenomation, fractures, dislocations, sprains and strains, managing casualties with non-life-threatening bleeding and shock.
Duration - 3.5 hours of face to face assessment & training, & additional online learning
Cost - $140
HLTAID012 - Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
In this course with a child and infant focus, you'll learn to: identify illness or injury, access emergency services and safely provide first aid treatment. It also covers: using action plans, equipment and resources for CPR, defibrillation, administering an autoinjector for anaphylaxis, administering asthma medication, immobilisation for envenomation, fractures, dislocations, sprains and strains, for bleeding, shock and other conditions.
Duration - 4 hours of face to face assessment & training, & additional online learning
