HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
In this course you will learn the necessary skills to provide effective CPR when a patient is experiencing cardiac arrest. You will learn to use an automated external defibrillator (AED), provide effective ventilations and compressions, and collaborate in a team to ensure effective rotations between roles occur. This course is designed for anyone needing to acquire, refresh, or renew their CPR qualification to meet workplace, industry or personal safety requirements.

HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid
In this course you'll learn to: assess the casualty, provide safety and access emergency services. Students also use resources to provide first aid, such as: conducting CPR and using a defibrillator, administering an autoinjector for anaphylaxis, administering asthma medication, assisting someone choking, using appropriate immobilisation techniques for envenomation, fractures, dislocations, sprains and strains, managing casualties with non-life-threatening bleeding and shock. This course is designed for anyone needing to acquire, refresh, or renew their first aid qualification to meet workplace, industry or personal safety requirements.
Duration - 3.5 hours of face-to-face assessment & training, along with additional online learning.

HLTAID012 - Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
In this course with a child and infant focus, you'll learn to: identify illness or injury, access emergency services and safely provide first aid treatment. It also covers: using action plans, equipment and resources for CPR, defibrillation, administering an autoinjector for anaphylaxis, administering asthma medication, immobilisation for envenomation, fractures, dislocations, sprains and strains, for bleeding, shock and other conditions. This course is specifically designed for educators, teachers and staff working within the childcare and education sector.
Duration - 4 hours of face-to-face assessment & training, & additional online learning.
